Reminders
Open Comply → Compliance → Reminders. Reminders are the shop's diary of things that must happen by a date, and the dashboard's Needs attention panel shows the ones due soonest.

The sweep
Once a day the system looks at its own data and raises what it implies: a renewal reminder for a licence inside the window, an expiry reminder for each batch nearing its date, one per target, never twice. It also moves a lapsed licence to expired. Run the sweep does the same on demand, for instance right after a delivery was received with short-dated stock.
Acting on a reminder
Click a reminder. Acknowledge it with a note (booked for next week) to show it is in hand; Close it with a note of what was done (renewed; new licence recorded). Both go on the audit trail with your name. Closed reminders are hidden by default; Show closed brings them back.
Adding one by hand
New reminder takes the kind, a title, what it is about and when it is due. Give it enough detail that whoever sees it in three months knows what to do: who is coming, what they will ask to see.
